Onefinity Skirmish Wargame¶
Command your elite special operations force through tense, cinematic missions where tactical decisions matter more than rules referencing. Complete your objectives, outmaneuver your opponents, and experience thrilling firefights in this fast-paced modern/sci-fi skirmish wargame designed for 15mm miniatures that strips away complexity without sacrificing depth.
Using a card-based resolution system instead of dice, Onefinity eliminates measurement and minimizes bookkeeping to keep the action flowing.
Basics¶
Resolution system¶
Onefinity uses a standard deck of 54 cards - including 2 jokers.
Card values range from Aces = 1 to Kings = 13.
Draw as many cards as required, always keep one. Highest wins.
Ties are resolved in this order: >
>
>
, If tied again re-draw.
Jokers are always a critical hit/block/success.
Cards are put in the discard pile after resolution.
Draw until your deck is empty, then shuffle your discard pile back in your deck and continue drawing.
Note on ties
Variant to be play-tested
Ties are never resolved by suit order, but instead considered a failure.
Troopers¶
Models composing your force are called troopers. Although their base sizes are not important as long as they're coherent across teams you can follow this recommendation:
- 15mm = Light and Medium Infantry
- 20mm = Heavy Infantry
- 25mm+ = TAG
Troopers have a front and rear facing, they can only move, fire, react in the direction of their front 180° arc.
Their front 180° arc is called "Line of Fire" or LoF.
Measurement¶
All measurements - Movement or Range - in Onefinity are expressed in Hexes, you do not need any measuring tape or ruler, just count the Hexes and move/shoot.
What you need¶
- 1 Standard deck of 54 cards per player
- 104 Hexes of 50mm side to side which will roughly give you a 45x45cm table - Check the Onefinity Table Generator
- Enough terrain to cover 40-50% of the table
- 5 to 12 15mm scaled miniatures per player
- The following rules
